Digipack.

What is a Digipack?


A Digipack is mainly used for storing CD singles or special additions of some kind. The usually a cardboard or paper board gate fold, with either one or more plastic trays containing a CD or DVD inside.
 Before the digipack was made, they was originaly called jewel cases.  Jewel cases were  a lot more fragile than digipacks but were less easily damaged by abrassion
